The Cadet Vocational Qualification Office (CVQO)
The Cadet Vocational Office (CVQO), based at the CTC Frimley, allows all cadets over 16 the opportunity to earn a BTEC First Diploma in Public Services - a widely respected qualification equal to FOUR GCSE's at A to C level.
Whether your objective is higher education or improved opportunities in the workforce, a BTEC Diploma offers you as a member of the Lancashire Army Cadet Force the additional edge needed to reach those goals.
AND IT'S FREE !!
The Cadet program is currently the only national youth organisation offering young people the opportunity to achieve these valuable skills as well as the option to gain a diploma that is nationally recognised and respected to employers as well as institutes of higher education.
Whilst there are no costs associated with the program as a cadet you are required to complete the course syllabus which includes supervised adventure training activities and occasional weekend training.
To enroll in the BTEC program, contact your BTEC Officer at County headquarters.
